Have you joined the matcha revolution yet?
Despite growing popularity, many remain unaware on what matcha is and the positive benefits that can come from drinking it. Originating from China, matcha is a type of powdered green tea that is rich in antioxidants. Naturally caffeine free and low in calories, matcha may help reduce the risk of heart disease as well as help in aiding weight loss, relaxation and alertness.
Matcha lattes are slowly popping up on the menu across coffee shops in Liverpool. We’ve scouted out the best matcha in The Baltic Triangle so that you don’t have to.
